Community Engagement Specialist
Sam Pereyra (she/her) joined the Mosaic America team in February of 2025 as the Community Engagement Specialist. She aims to gain a deeper understanding of the diverse participants who attend Mosaic events – through creating relationships with the community, developing surveys, and qualitative analysis. She is a current SJSU student – and is set to graduate in May of 2025 with her Bachelor’s of Arts in Anthropology and a minor in Chicano Studies. Sam is especially interested in the intersection of art, culture, and community in the Bay Area. She’s passionate about creating community, celebrating diversity, and engaging with cultural arts.
Prior to working as the Community Engagement Specialist, she was a Student Researcher for the Mosaic Atlas project where she conducted interviews with artists. It was during this time Sam solidified her passion for the arts in the Bay Area.
